Jared Lane

For four years Jared Lane has been working in the music industry as an educator, producer, and most of all a composer. Jared started to pursue his passion for music in high school as he attended Artios Academies where he was involved in choirs, orchestras, plays, and musicals. He later went on to Bob Jones University where he studied music composition with Dr. Seth Custer, and also studied independently with Emmy Award winning composer Brett Ensley.

Jared’s first composition gig, which he got by using Craigslist, was to compose music for a start up production company’s logo reveal and he was hooked. Sense then his music has been described as “amazingly beautiful and full of peace,” “[It]makes me feel joyful,” and “you can sense the story is [his] music.” His music is about life and expresses the experiences and emotions we all experience.

Jared is currently working on two independent films. With Someone a romantic comedy directed by Kyle West and ________ directed by Mark Kamibayshiyama. He is also working on the multi-movement concert piece An Immigrant’s Story which follows the life of an immigrant through arriving in New York to the character’s death highlighting the places, hardships and emotions an immigrant must face.
